Absolutely wonderful 2 nights spent at the Hotel du Jeu de Paume. Everything was perfect, from the reception, complete with a dog welcoming service, to the room being clean and comfortable. The building is absolutely beautiful and just enjoying the lobby is an experience in itself. Great location, very walkable to many sights and easy access to metro lines. Definitely recommend!

For an expensive hotel, with a fabulous selling point (the whole tennis court in the entrance is wonderful) the rooms are surprisingly plasticky - the flooring, the cheap doors, the fittings, the rather miserable choice and amount in the tea/coffee tray. The room didn't seem like a 4* hotel.

I think you should provide fresh water in glass bottles each day. The walls are incredibly thin. I could hear a child crying. The neighbour sneezing like they were in our room. When the neighbour opened their door it sounded like they were in our room. Hair dryer/ very poor.

We had a great stay as usual, in retrospect it would be nicer to have a room with more natural light. Perhaps this could be noted for next time we come. Also most of our regular hotels usually offer a discount for returning customers, this would encourage us to come more often!

This is a gem of a hotel. Only two suggestions for improvement. Beds are quite soft so a better mattress would be great. Breakfast is quite basic. Would benefit from fresh options and fruit. The scrambled eggs are terrible, sorry. 😌Otherwise a gem and no matter we will be back!

Bonjour, nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez vous. Merci à toute votre équipe. La localisation est parfaite, le lieu magique. Pour la propreté j'ai mis 8 car il y avait un peu de poussière sur les tablettes à côté du lit. Mais cela vient quand les lits sont faits. Sinon tout est très propre. Nous reviendrons.

We had a wonderful stay with our 3 young children. The reception is extremely friendly and helpful! We loved the location and restaurants surrounding the hotel. Quiet at night for sleep but in the center of everything for day time exploration. Will definitely rent one of their apartments for our next stay in Paris.

Would like to see better quality soap offered in bathrooms. Coffee at breakfast buffet is never hot. Armoire in room 211 needs shelves for clothing storage. Room 211 needs improved lighting at desk area—impossible to see anything. HJPP will always be my hotel of choice in Paris. Thanks for another wonderful visit.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel du Jeu de Palme in December 2024. The exceptional location on Rue de St Louis on the Ile St Louis made it easy to get everywhere. The street was filled with cafes and interesting stores and very little traffic. The service was wonderful. For example, the circular staircase in our junior suite was a problem, especially since the bedroom was upstairs while the bathroom was downstairs. The front desk employees, Odko and Eliana and the Manager kindly changed our room to one without stairs. The new room was excellent; well-appointed and comfortable. Although not fancy, Hotel du Jeu de Palme is cozy and comfortable. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris.

Situated on the magical Rue Saint Louis en Lille, this little four star hotel puts you in walking distance of the city's best attractions, not the least of which are the many exquisite small old restaurants you'll find just steps from your door. It should win an award as the most affordable four star experience Paris can offer. my family always request the apartment in front of the hotel, it is nice, convenient, the staff are mostly very nice with the exception of a couple, always make you feel you are putting them out by asking a question. Paisible.Quelques petites suggestions d'amélioration : une plus grande variété de cafés au petit-déjeuner (par exemple, latte, cappuccino). Un grille-pain était disponible, mais le pain plat adapté au grille-pain semblait manquer. Mais ce sont vraiment des détails mineurs, et dans l'ensemble, le petit-déjeuner était délicieux avec un service excellent.

This was a good stay. I appreciated your staff and their attention to customer care. Things like the plug outlets not working are to be expected in an historic venue like this and that is fine. Only suggestion: I have stayed many times and on checking in I'm always asked if I have been to the hotel before! Most hotels say "welcome back" etc as it is easy to mark someone as a returning guest. But no big deal!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We would have rated the room higher if the bathroom door had closed properly, the stairs didn’t make such a noise when walking even very carefully and the lounge area needed more light and was not inviting. The staff were wonderful and extremely accommodating. The ambiance of the public areas was fantastic. The location was brilliant. We felt as though it was home when we returned after visiting other parts of France. For all these good points we would stay there again and recommend it to others. Loved many aspects of our stay. Small rooms are thoughtfully equipped to make the most of the space. French tubs are always a safety hazard, cela aussi, mais the shower head was difficult. I never felt quite « showered ». And so much black in the decor made it hard to find my black clothes! ;-) but keep in mind that my notes are colored by the bad cold I developed. We liked the hotel very much and would stay again.

Le petit déjeuner n’est pas à la hauteur du prix de la chambre. Le premier jour les salades de fruits étaient aigres, le deuxième jour deux prunes pourries.

Wonderful little hotel right in the heart of things on the Ile-St-Louis. Very convenient to metro, Le Marais, left bank and lots of restaurants shops on the same street. Nice staff and clean nice rooms. Will be back.

While the staff, location, and ambiance were all great your hotel is in serious need of a refreshment/ my room 6 was a fine size, bed comfortable, pillows too but the shower was a very low end mess, no light in my room or general areas, furniture also needs some upgrade, the entire hotel should be rated perhaps as high as 3*/ yours is not a 4* hotel/ amazing croissants at blast but canned fruit salad w yogurt/

Great hotel. Fine staff/service, great location, beautiful interior spaces,, charming historic architecture with very modern interior, great art, fine restaurants minutes away. Simply lovely and we will be back. Cannot praise the help and service from the front desk personnel any higher.
